“…In this section, foam infiltration distance ( L ) is a general term, which refers to both the maximum and the critical infiltration distance. Two different scenarios are presented in Figure , which are ( a ) L vs τ s at different P n when α n ( t ) = 0.125 and β n = 190 m and ( b ) L vs τ s at different P n when α n ( t ) = 0.500 and β n = 195 m. According to Figure , the following conclusions can be summarized: Foam infiltration distance drops with the increase of shear stress of foam fluid, foam infiltration distance increases with the increase of foam injection pressure, critical infiltration distance is always less than the maximum distance during the injection, and the gap between the maximum injection distance and critical distance reduces slowly with the increase of shear stress of foam fluid.…”

“…However, this type of conditioning agent is not cost‐friendly because of the requirement for the large‐scale equipment to apply . Water‐soluble polymer, such as carboxy methyl cellulose (CMC), can be employed to increase of soil viscosity and to form plastic flow of soil . But it is only suitable for cohesionless soils.…”

“…Kırılma sabiti ve limit molekül ağırlığı sonikasyon koşullarına oldukça bağlıdır. (Rashed et al 2012) Deneysel sonuçlar sonikasyon süresince molekül ağırlığının değişimini belirlemede iyi sonuçlar veren Giz ve Madras modelleri ile analiz edilmiştir. Kullanılan modeller için verilen ifadelerde M t zamanın fonksiyonu olarak molekül ağırlığı M in başlangıç molekül ağırlığı, M lim limit molekül ağırlığıdır.…”

“…Generally, they are known as specialty polymers with functional groups such as carboxyl, hydroxyl and amino groups that have applications in diverse fields such as packaging, agriculture, detergents, superabsorbents and others. [1,2] Nevertheless, the knowledge of the synthetic watersoluble polymers entering the environment is still sparse and due to their versatility, the environmental pollution by this type of polymers has become a major concern. [3,4] Also, as a result of their water solubility, they are able to reach sewage disposal systems and consequently contaminate water resources.…”
