The procedure of decision making is considered as one of the key complicated tools of human viewpoint, as diverse issues and choices of act are involved in it, with diverse outcomes (de AcedoLizárraga et al. 2007). Decisions in public organizations can have comprehensive influences on the public attention (Rainey et al. 2010). Women are equal citizens and therefore should share equally with men in public decision-making (Tremblay 2007). Women also constitute almost half of the global population. However, gender inequality and imbalance in leadership and decision-making positions is evident in diverse domains, particularly in representative politics, bureaucracy, and economics. In this chapter, women in decisionmaking positions refer to the representation and presence of women folks in those posts that have an influential role to play in the formulation and implementation process of public policy and laws. Moreover, it is the representation and participation of women in positions of power and decision-making in public office and political organizations; hence, women need to incorporate themselves in the decision-making positions of government and public offices.
