Emprego E Empreendedorismo: Percepções De Jovens Sobre Oportunidades Locais

Abstract

Moradores de pequenas cidades sofrem com a falta de empregos, visto que não têm muitas opções devido ao baixo número de postos de trabalho disponíveis na comunidade onde vivem. Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar as percepções de jovens de uma cidade de pequeno porte sobre as oportunidades de emprego e empreendedorismo no local onde vivem. Esta pesquisa é de caráter qualitativo, descritivo e exploratório, aplicada através de questionário junto a 31 alunos do terceiro ano do ensino médio. Como resultado, tem-se que os jovens estão conscientes sobre o quão importante é ter um curso superior, serem resilientes e desenvolverem habilidades e competências, ou seja, fazer a gestão correta de suas carreiras. Com relação a oportunidades de emprego na cidade, os jovens não veem muitas oportunidades. Apesar de terem analisado que a cidade tem potencial baixo de oportunidades de empreendedorismo, relataram que futuramente poderiam abrir seu próprio negócio na comunidade em que vivem. Conclui-se que a pequena cidade tem potencial de crescimento, bem como os jovens estão preocupados e pensando no seu futuro e na gestão de suas carreiras, bem como veem o empreendedorismo como opção relevante para eles e para a comunidade, pois percebem a importância do empreendedorismo no desenvolvimento de uma cidade e região. Abstract: Residents of small towns suffer from a lack of jobs, as they do not have many options due to the low number of jobs available in the community where they live. This research aims to analyze the perceptions of young people from a small town about employment and entrepreneurship opportunities where they live. This research is qualitative, descriptive and exploratory in nature, applied through a questionnaire to 31 third-year high school students. As a result, young people are aware of how important it is to have a higher education degree, to be resilient and to develop skills and competencies, that is, to manage their careers correctly. Regarding job opportunities in the city, young people do not see many opportunities. Despite having analyzed that the city has low potential for entrepreneurship opportunities, they reported that in the future they could open their own business in the community in which they live. It is concluded that the small city has potential for growth, and young people are concerned and thinking about their future and the management of their careers, as well as seeing entrepreneurship as a relevant option for them and the community, as they realize the importance of entrepreneurship in the development of a city and region.
