Emulation of Shortest Path Algorithm in Software Defined Networking Environment

Abstract: The field of Computer network has evolved a lot since the last three decades from conventional static networks to dynamically programmed architecture. The main goal of Software Defined Networking (SDN) is for the network to be open and programmable. Traditional network devices like router and switches can take routing decision and forwarding of these packets, SDN separate these component into different planes by pulling different component apart called as Data plane and Control plane. Hence the switches only h… Show more

“…Analysts apply every one of their endeavors to improve these calculations and create different calculations by consolidating these algorithms. For example, Gallo and Pallottino [14] present a well-executed investigation of classical calculations and their applications. Cherkassky et al [15] propose a broad relative investigation on assorted SPAs.…”

“…For the QoS routing algorithm PEMuR that makes use of the video distortion prediction model mechanism, its drawback is that the distortion prediction needs to have the additional computation on the overhead, which is not realistic for the sensor network that has the limited resources (Shivendu, Dhakal and Sharma, 2015). The QoS perception routing algorithm CARQ that is based on the video image correlation, distributes the video data to different paths for transmission on the basis of the image correlation coding strategy, through the load balancing policy (Jukna and Schnitger, 2016).…”
