“…The main factors affecting the T g of polyurethane elastomer are the polyol type and molecular weight, isocyanate type, hard segment content, R value, polyurethane molecular weight and crosslinking degree, etc. 14 In this experiment, the type and molecular weight of polyol, isocyanate type, and R value have been fixed. The only variable is the addition amount of PEI during emulsification.…”

“…Precrosslinking refers to the addition of multifunctional monomers to crosslink prepolymers during chain expansion or addition of polyfunctional chain extenders during polyurethane emulsification. , However, the main drawback of this modification method is that the viscosity of the prepolymer is too large in the synthesis process, and even a gel phenomenon occurs in some cases. Next, the prepolymer is difficult to disperse during emulsification, so it is difficult to obtain high solid content polyurethane emulsion. Typical WPU crosslinking agents for WPU include trimethylolpropane, ethylenediamine, etc. Postcrosslinking refers to chemical reactions that take place during or after film formation to form crosslinked structures.…”

“…[22][23][24][25] According to the differently modied PU molecular segments, the modications of IFWPU are classied as so-, hard-, and so-co-hard segment modications. [26][27][28][29][30][31][32][33] Besides, the compositions of IFWPU are classied as one-component, twocomponent, and hyperbranched based on different components. [34][35][36][37] Of these, one-component IFWPU consists of multiple so and hard segments obtained through block formation.…”

“…Crosslinking modification can essentially design WPU as a three-dimensional network structure, which can make up for its shortcomings in its structure. [22][23][24] The carbohydrate crosslinkers can be used to improve the overall performance of polyurethanes such as enhancing biodegradability, and they have been verified by many assays. [25][26][27] Glucose is one of the basic carbohydrates, which contains five active -OH every monomer, conduces to hydrogen bonding and promotes microphase separation.…”

“…Therefore, it is necessary to continuously modify polyurethane to improve its properties so as to improve its degradability and comprehensive properties, such as crosslinking modification, epoxy modification, nano modification, etc. Crosslinking modification can essentially design WPU as a three‐dimensional network structure, which can make up for its shortcomings in its structure [22–24] . The carbohydrate crosslinkers can be used to improve the overall performance of polyurethanes such as enhancing biodegradability, and they have been verified by many assays [25–27] .…”
