Abstract:México, es el principal productor de Sechium edule, cuya producción es afectada por Phytophthora capsici, que ataca a plantas y frutos. El objetivo de este estudio fue seleccionar in vitro variantes somaclonales de S. edule var. virens levis con resistencia a P. capsici. Se obtuvieron filtrados de cultivo de tres cepas patogénicas (A1-C, A2-H y A3-O).
