Enabling Aircraft Emergency Landings Using Active Visual Site Detection

Abstract: Abstract. The ability to automate forced landings in an emergency such as engine failure is an essential ability to improve the safety of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles operating in General Aviation airspace.
