“…The model has been used effectively in a wide range of contexts and with various groups of students and it has been developed and refined over the course of this time. Research into the use of the approach has consistently demonstrated an improvement in students motivation in learning (Lawlor et al, 2016) and an increase in confidence in key 21C skills such as learning with technology, communication, critical thinking, and self-directed learning (Sullivan et al, 2017;Johnston et al, 2014).
