Abstract: ABSTRACT. This work aims to compare different methodologies for the preparation of dipalmitoylphosphatidylcholine/cholesterol (DPPC/Chol) liposomes entrapping the anticancer agent 5-fluorouracil (5-FU), a drug usually employed in melanoma therapy, designed for topical administration.
