“…The fish oil encapsulated into the zein fibers showed higher oxidative stability than the unprotected oil at different storage conditions. Yang et al encapsulated fish oil into zein-polyvinylpyrrolidone fibers by coaxial electrospinning, obtaining a fiber medium diameter of 560 nm, a loading capacity of 14.5% and an encapsulation efficiency of 97% [20]. García-Moreno et al used the emulsion electrospinning process to encapsulate cod liver oil into zein, pullulan and poly(vinyl) alcohol (PVA) fibers [21][22][23].…”

“…Hollow fiber fabrication was performed using a coaxial nozzle to accomplish this distribution more effectively . Coaxial electrospinning has many applications such as pulling out core‐shell fibers by inserting other materials inside and outside . However, this study used coaxial electrospinning to produce hollow fiber.…”

“…16,17 In the past few years, electrospinning has been well established for encapsulating bioactive compounds. [18][19][20] It can be even used to develop a colon-targeted delivery system to achieve slow and sustained release of protein. 21 In order to improve its stability and bioavailability, a novel colon-specic delivery system for SCT was developed by electrospinning in this study.…”
