Abstract:Complexation of 4-chloromethylpyridine hydrochloride (G) with cucurbit [8]uril (Q[8]) has been investigated using NMR spectroscopy, UV-visible spectroscopy, isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC), Quantum calculation, and X-ray crystallography.
