Endobronchial coils – therapeutic innovations for severe emphysema

Abstract: Emphysema is a frequent phenotypic manifestation of chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases which does not respond to pharmacotherapy. Interventional methods can provide relief for severely ill and highly symptomatic emphysema patients.
