Endoscopic Decompression in Colonic Distension

Abstract: <b><i>Background:</i></b> Acute colonic distension is a medical emergency with high morbidity and mortality. Clinically important causes of colonic distension are acute colonic pseudo-obstruction, colonic volvulus, and malignant obstruction.
