Endoscopic retrieval of a sheared guidewire remnant with microbiopsy forceps from a peripheral intrahepatic bile duct

Abstract: A SHEARED GUIDEWIRE remnant is occasionally encountered in endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography-related procedures. Some reports have described successful retrieval of migrated pancreatic and biliary stents, but retrieval of a thin sheared guidewire remnant is more challenging and rarely reported.
