Endoskopische Resektion eines seltenen Magenadenoms (Pyloric-gland-Adenom) mit Übergang in ein gut differenziertes Adenokarzinom

Abstract: We present the case of a 76-year-old lady in whom the work-up for iron-deficiency anaemia resulted in the finding of a giant gastric polyp. The polyp could be completely removed endoscopically. The final histology showed the rare entity of a pyloric gland adenoma with focal transition into a well-differentiated adenocarcinoma.
