Endoskopsko zdravljenje skafocefalije: prikaz primera in nove operacijske tehnike

Abstract: IzvlečekSkafocefalija, najbolj pogosta kraniosinostoza, je posledica prezgodnjega zaraščanja sagitalnega šiva. Gre za stanje, ki poleg estetskih težav lahko povzroča tudi funkcionalne motnje. Brez ustreznega zdravljenja lahko nastanejo trajni nevrološki izpadi. Zato sta pomembni pravočasno diagnosticiranje in zdravljenje. Do sedaj je bilo uveljavljeno kirurško zdravljenje z odprto tehniko in večjim rezom kože.
