Abstract:Arterioenteric fistula is a rare cause of massive gastrointestinal tract hemorrhage. It is defined as an abnormal communication between an artery and a bowel loop. Radiation-induced iliac artery-enteric fistula (IEF) is an extremely rare subtype with only a few cases reported in the literature. Here, we present a case of successful endovascular treatment of massive hemorrhage due to radiation-induced IEF.
