Abstract:The domain wall energy is calculated by the balance between exchange, magnetocrystalline anisotropy and magnetoelastic energy contributions. The described method is theoretical and is based on experimental measurements of neutron inelastic scattering. The domain wall energy is determined by both finding the minimum of energy and deriving the energy and setting it to zero.
