Energy efficient cooling of a continuous-casting mold

Abstract: The results of a structural calculation of the cooling of the wide and narrow walls of the industrial continuous casting mold with a specified value of the heat transfer coefficient with conden sation of the coolant vapor are given. A check of the use of copper and steel for production of the mold and condenser was made.
