Abstract: Ultrafast fiber lasers constitute a flexible platform to investigate new solitary wave concepts. To surpass the low energy limitation of the conventional solitons generated in standard telecom fibers, successive breakthroughs have promoted the usage of an important frequency chirping within fiber oscillators.
