Energy supply reliability assessment of the integrated energy system considering complementary and optimal operation during failure

Abstract: Integrated energy system (IES) is an effective solution for energy and environment problems. In view of the difficulty of traditional reliability assessment methods to reasonably and effectively assess the reliability of the IES, an energy supply reliability assessment method based on sequential Monte Carlo simulation is proposed in this study. The optimal operation of the system is realised by mobilising the multi‐energy complementary characteristics during device failure. The reliability of the system under … Show more

“…In this way, the calculation error is reduced and the effectiveness of this method is proved [8]. Taking IES as the research object, Li et al [9] proposed an IES reliability evaluation method combined with sequential Monte Carlo to effectively improve the safety and reliability of power supply system operation. In view of the poor cooperation between independent IES systems, Wang et al designed a new energy trading model under the guidance of bargaining game theory.…”

“…For the failure of IES, Li et al [10] analyzed the reliability of an IES under three different operation objectives and verified the reasonability of the proposed indices and flexible scheduling of energy flow. Moslehi et al [11] built a three-dimensional matrix to combine failures and different operational periods to realize the quantification of failure loss in IES.…”
