Energy Transition Scenarios and Their Economic Impacts in the Extended Neoclassical Model of Economic Growth

Abstract: Introduction: Energy return on energy invested (EROEI) of fossil fuels has been declining sharply, while modern renewable energy sources generally have even lower EROEI than fossil fuels.
