Enfermedad de Hirschsprung y apendicitis. Una asociación rara

Abstract: La enfermedad de Hirschsprung asociada con apendicitis es una condición poco usual; suman 15 los reportados en la literatura, ya incluido este caso. Se informa el caso de un lactante de 12 meses de edad que ingresó con fiebre, anorexia, distensión abdominal, vómito, evacuaciones hemáticas y antecedente de estreñimiento. Se realizó laparotomía exploradora que reportó apendicitis y megacolon congénito o enfermedad de Hirschsprung.
