Purpose. The aim of the study is to observe the effects of cognitive behavioral therapy on stress disorder, cognitive function, motor function, and daily living ability of traumatic brain injury (TBI) patients. Methods. 84 patients with TBI admitted to our hospital from June 2019 to May 2021 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into a control group (from June 2019 to May 2020) and an observation group (from June 2020 to May 2021), with 42 cases in each group. The control group received routine intervention; the observation group received cognitive behavioral therapy on the basis of the control group. Before and after intervention, the posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), cognitive function, motor function, and daily living ability of the two groups were observed. Results. After intervention, the PTSD-self-rating scale (PTSD-SS) scores of both groups were lower than those before intervention, and the PTSD-SS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group P < 0.05 . After intervention, the scores of the Montreal cognitive assessment (MoCA) scale, Fugl-Meyer assessment (FMA), and modified Barthel index (MBI) in both groups were higher than those before intervention, and the scores of MoCA, FMA, and MBI in the observation group were higher than those in the control group P < 0.05 . Conclusion. The application of cognitive behavioral therapy to TBI patients is beneficial to reduce the degree of PTSD and improve cognitive function, motor function, and daily living ability, which is worthy of clinical application.

This paper provides an in-depth analysis of timbre-speech spectrograms in instrumental music, designs a model analysis of rehabilitation occupational therapy techniques based on the analysis of timbre-speech spectrograms in instrumental music, and tests the models for comparison. Starting from the mechanism of human articulation, this paper models the process of human expression as a time-varying linear system consisting of excitation, vocal tract, and radiation models. The system’s overall architecture is designed according to the characteristics of Chinese speech and everyday speech rehabilitation theory (HSL theory). The dual judgment of temporal threshold and short-time average energy realized the phonetic length training. Tone and clear tone training were achieved by linear predictive coding technique (LPC) and autocorrelation function. Using the DTW technique, isolated word speech recognition was achieved by extracting Mel-scale Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC) parameters of speech signals. The system designs corresponding training scenes for each training module according to the extracted speech parameters, combines the multimedia speech spectrogram motion situation with the speech parameters, and finally presents the training content as a speech spectrogram, and evaluates the training results through human-machine interaction to stimulate the interest of rehabilitation therapy and realize the speech rehabilitation training of patients. After analyzing the pre- and post-test data, it was found that the p -values of all three groups were <0.05, which was judged to be significantly different. Also, all subjects changed their behavioral data during the treatment. Therefore, it was concluded that the music therapy technique could improve the patients’ active gaze communication ability, verbal command ability, and active question-answering ability after summarizing the data, i.e., the hypothesis of this experiment is valid. Therefore, it is believed that the technique of timbre-speech spectrogram analysis in instrumental music can achieve the effect of rehabilitation therapy to a certain extent.

Exercise for People with Acquired Brain Injury: An ICF Perspective

Exercise is an important element in the process of recovery from an acquired brain injury (ABI). However, specific guidance for exercise prescription and interventions in this population are missed. The aim of this study was to establish the key parameters to design and implement exercise programs based on the International Classification of Functioning, Disability, and Health (ICF) domains. A panel of experts that consisted of 13 professionals from neuro-rehabilitation centers evaluated the key parameters of this original proposal. The Heinemann methodology was used for all qualitative analyses. Additionally, Cronbach’s alpha was applied to the statistical analyses. According to the results, Cronbach’s alpha (0.97) indicated excellent internal consistency, and the experts perceptions ratified the proposed criteria to develop exercise programs for people with ABI. The proposed key parameters for the development of exercise programs for people with ABI based in ICF domains (body functions, activity—participation and environmental factors) bring a new, solid, and innovative tool for methodological design of these programs in sub-acute and chronic rehabilitation settings.
