With the development of information technology, music education in universities is also changing. Traditional music education can not effectively explore the feature of students, resulting in the quality of music education being restricted. The rapid development of Electroencephalogram (EEG) signals has brought a new educational model to music education. Through the extraction of students’ psychological features of music by EEG, psychological features can be identified and different educational programs can be formulated according to the results. Multifeature extraction and combination method can improve the accuracy of EEG feature extraction. Using empirical mode decomposition and wavelet packet decomposition of the two kinds of methods to analyze EEG data, respectively, then the average energy, volatility index, sample entropy, and approximate entropy and multiscale features such as permutation entropy and Hurst index, select features in combination, to classify the feature set after the combination, so as to find out the feature of the performance of the optimal combination. The experimental results show that the feature combination of sample entropy and approximate entropy can better represent the main features of EEG psychological characteristic signals after wavelet packet decomposition, and the recognition accuracy is more than 90%.

Introduction: The purpose of this review is to explore research literature beyond music therapy and music medicine studies that addresses healthcare musicians' work in hospitals. Music-related and intersectoral collaboration in contemporary healthcare may appear as if all music practitioners, including music therapists and healthcare musicians, maintain the same professional stance, harmonized goals, and orientations in their work. We argue that this is not the case, either in practice or in research, and therefore this complex field is in need of conceptual clarification as well as educational guidance. Method: A systematic search of peer-reviewed literature with PRISMA yielded 16 studies relating to healthcare musicians' work in somatic hospital settings. These studies were analysed with the quality appraisal tool CASP, utilizing the descriptive statistics and thematic approach, and assessed with the ROBIS tool. Results: Within the scope of the review, the quality of the studies, as well as the reporting of methods and analysis, were very diverse. The review indicates that the hybrid professional work of healthcare musicians in hospitals does not stem from the practices of music therapy. Instead, the healthcare musicians' work draws from different historical, societal, and philosophical contexts, developed mainly in the twenty-first century. Discussion: Despite the rich descriptions of the healthcare musicians' practice and work presented in this review, it remains questionable whether the profession of healthcare musician is already internationally established. However, the emerging movement of expanding professionalism, which healthcare musicians are a part of, needs to be addressed more clearly in practice, research, and education.

Training Effects and Intelligent Evaluated Pattern of the Holistic Music Educational Approach for Children with Developmental Delay

This study focuses on the holistic music educational approach for young children developed by music therapists and experts, which combines technology with music, integrates it into the local culture, and frameworks it for holistic education. This method includes 231 children in Taiwan’s early intervention education system for children with developmental delay. The learning occurs twice a week for 40 min over 32 weeks. The results show that implementing the holistic music educational approach can significantly improve children’s ability with developmental delay and that supportive training has a positive effect. In addition, the decision tree explores and develops an intelligently evaluated pattern with highly effective learning. This model has a sensitivity rate of 90.6% on the in-sample, and the comprehensive indicator F is 79.9%, so it has a high reference value. In the future, those involved in education will be able to use the data mining to use the auxiliary decision-making system as an assessment tool for young children participating in education pre- and midterm of the course, to prejudge its continued implementation and learning effectiveness, to decide whether to continue to invest in and adjust the curriculum, and to make more effective use of educational resources.
