Exploring Service Learning From the Perspective of Early Childhood Pre-Service Teacher Education

Service learning has been stressed as an effective pedagogical approach to enhance students' professional skills and citizenship for future development. However, service-learning research concerning early childhood pre-service teacher education has been rarely done. This study explored how undergraduate students in an early childhood pre-service teacher education program experienced in seven different service learning activities and discussed the meanings of their experiences from the perspective of early childhood pre-service teacher education. Participants in the study were 99 undergraduate students of early childcare and education. Their speech reflections, SL (Service learning) reports and verbal presentations during the course and service learning were analyzed qualitatively. The study revealed participants experienced emotion processes. In addition, participants learned professional skills and formed their teacher traits. How to balance the student choice and the goals of the course from SL activity needs to be taken into account.

The Study of Virtual Reality Sensing Technology in the Form Design and Perception of Public Buildings

In order to explore the commercial building design method that meets the needs of contemporary consumer behavior, the author proposes a method of applying virtual reality, behavior simulation, and other technologies to commercial building design. First, through a questionnaire survey of commercial buildings in a city, the influencing factors of consumption behavior are explained with the help of SPSS correlation analysis. Then, applying virtual reality technology on this basis, three-dimensional presentation of the commercial building design scheme, taking the design of commercial space signage system as an example, the preset low-brightness color system, and the color and shape are single, the logo set A and the logo set B using high-brightness color system and changeable form are presented, expand 3D dynamic visual and behavioral simulations. At last, relying on ResNet image recognition technology, it analyzes the user’s visual experience and usage effect. Experimental results show: There is a significant correlation between plane layout, spatial identification, familiarity of indoor space, and frequency of use, and visual perception is the main driving factor for choosing commercial buildings; using the comparative analysis of commercial logos, it is found that the average value of the confidence of set B is less than that of set A; in terms of significance, the average time of identifying all categories of logo set A is 0.68 s, and the average identification time of all categories of identification set B is 0.46 s; in terms of discrimination, it takes 0.28 s to correct the misrecognition of all categories of identification set A and 0.11 s to correct the misrecognition of all categories of identification set B, indicating that the design of the identification system uses bright colors and changeable forms, which are easier to use. The results indicate that the elevation, slope, hydrology, transportation conditions, economic indexes and cultural factors are important factors affecting the spatial distribution of traditional villages in a city. The analysis shows that the distribution of traditional villages is affected by natural conditions, social economic conditions, cultural factors and other factors, and the optimal layout of traditional villages can be strengthened from these aspects.

In order to improve the efficiency of urban planning and design and reduce the construction waste caused by inefficient design schemes, this paper proposes an application method of environmental protection building elements based on artificial intelligence technology in the field of urban planning and design. This model enables agents to learn how to interact with the environment with appropriate strategies, so as to generate the road network design scheme required by users. In order to better control the generation of the result scheme, this paper designs the rules and feedback of the agent. Among them, rules restrict the behavior of agents to avoid design schemes that do not meet the road design specifications. Feedback determines the values followed by agents, that is, the direction of agent strategy optimization. The experimental results show that after 4×105 iterations of the training process, the model is derived and used to generate 10000 plot road network schemes, the mean and variance of key indicators are calculated, and the scores of 153 plots with similar area and shape and the same land function in the same indicators from the real case base are calculated. From the performance of these indicators, it can be seen that the performance of the road network generated by the model is similar to that of the real road network in terms of traffic performance. Conclusion. the model completely retains the structural geographic information inside the plot, and the generated results can be directly applied to mainstream urban design software through data format conversion.
