Enhanced Aryltetralin Lignans Production in Linum Adventi-Tious Root Cultures

Abstract: Lignans are the main secondary metabolites synthetized by Linum species as plant defense molecules. They are also valuable for human health, in particular, for their potent antiviral and antineoplastic properties.
