Abstract:Diverse spectroscopic methods operating at radio frequency depend on a reliable calibration to compensate for the frequency dependent damping of the transmission lines. Calibration may be impeded by the existence of a sensitive interdependence of two or more experimental parameters. Here, we show by combined scanning tunnelling microscopy measurements and numerical simulations how a frequency-dependent conductance response is affected by different DC conductance behaviour of the sample. Distinct and well-defin… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
