“…It should also be highlighted that the thermal gradient/stress arising from the quick solidification of the molten oxide during the operation caused cracks in the BST thin films [32]. In a previous study [19], we simulated an equivalent circuit model for the formation of BST films on Ti substrates, as shown in Figure 6, which is made up of the following components: (i) a Ti substrate resistance ( R 1 ), (ii) a BST film resistance ( R ), a capacitor ( C ) in parallel with it and (iii) an electrolyte resistance ( R 2 ).
