Abstract:The densification effect on field emission characteristics of carbon nanotube (CNT) film emitters made with a thin multiwalled CNT film is evaluated by changing the concentration of nitric acid. As the concentration of nitric acid used for the densification of the film increases, the thickness of the CNT film decreases while the electrical conductivity increases. The results indicate that the densification progresses further with higher concentrations of nitric acid. The decrease in the thickness of the film i… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
