Abstract:The current investigation seeks to assess the efficacy of certain ternary Bi-Se-Ge glasses (BSG) as shielding materials, such as γ-gamma rays. The online Phy-X/PSD programme enables the deduction of several safety factors. This programme enabled us to get the linear and mass attenuation coefficients. The most fascinating findings indicate that these values surpass those of some commercial and traditional glasses in terms of their shielding capabilities. In addition, we have identified several shielding paramet… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
