Enhanced gamma-ray shielding capabilities of Bi-Se-Ge chalcogenide glasses: analytical and simulation insights

Abstract: The current investigation seeks to assess the efficacy of certain ternary Bi-Se-Ge glasses (BSG) as shielding materials, such as γ-gamma rays. The online Phy-X/PSD programme enables the deduction of several safety factors. This programme enabled us to get the linear and mass attenuation coefficients.
