Abstract:This study focuses on optimizing the mutagenesis process for Morchella eximia (Mel-7) mycelia through atmospheric and room temperature plasma (ARTP) mutation and explores the resultant thermal adaptability and physiological responses of mutant strains. This research demonstrated a clear relationship between ARTP mutagenesis exposure duration and lethality rate, indicating that an exposure time of 40 s resulted in the optimal balance of inducing mutations without causing excessive mortality. Additionally, this … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
