Abstract: Asymptomatic Alzheimer’s disease (AsymAD) describes the status of individuals with preserved cognition but identifiable Alzheimer’s disease (AD) brain pathology (i.e., beta-amyloid (Aβ) deposits, neuritic plaques, and neurofibrillary tangles) at autopsy.
