“…According to the results of XPS, the detail atomic percentages of Ag, AgCl, and TiO 2 on the surface of S-CTF were about 8.5%, 40.7% and 51.8%, respectively. Moreover, the interaction among Ag, AgCl and TiO 2 [43] is further confirmed by the binding energy shifts peaks for all elements compared with standard values.…”

“…The lattice parameters of ZnO and Ag 40 -AgCl/ZnO are a = 3.250 Å, b = 3.250 Å, c = 5.207 Å. The same lattice parameters indicate that Ag-AgCl loading should be merely placed on the surface of ZnO without being embedded into the crystal structure (Xu et al, 2008(Xu et al, , 2011. The peaks at 38.2°and 44.3°which are assigned to the (1 1 1) and (2 0 0) planes of Ag, confirming the existence of metallic Ag in the molecular structure of Ag 40 -AgCl/ZnO.…”

“…The Br 3d XPS peaks could also be resolved into two typical peaks, of which the peaks centered at 67.8 and 68.8 eV were ascribed to AgBr. These results indicated that the Br elements were mainly in the form of Br − [31].…”
