Enhanced Virtual Inertia Control for Microgrids with High-Penetration Renewables Based on Whale Optimization

Abstract: High penetration of renewable energy sources into isolated microgrids (µGs) is considered a critical challenge, as µGs’ operation at low inertia results in frequency stability problems.
