Abstract:The poultry industry in developing countries is challenged by the high cost of conventional protein and energy feed ingredients. This problem has burdened researchers to use cheap and readily non-conventional feed ingredients such as tropical leaf meals (TLMs) to reduce the cost of feed. Tropical leaf meals are high in nutrients and important bioactive compounds, such as flavonoids and polyphenols.
