Enhancement of Optical Properties in In2O3-Doped PVA/PEG Nanostructured Films for Optoelectronic Applications

Dhay Ali Sabur,
Ahmed Hashim,
Aseel Hadi
et al.

Abstract: In this investigation, nanostructured films comprising polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)/polyethylene glycol (PEG) blended with indium oxide (In2O3) nanoparticles were fabricated using a casting technique. The study focused on examining the impact of varying the ratios of PVA/PEG blend and In2O3 nanoparticle content on the optical properties of these nanostructures. Optical assessments were conducted across a spectrum ranging from 220 nm to 820 nm. It was observed that an increase in In2O3 nanoparticle concentration res… Show more

“…The organization of connectivity package tiers corresponded to the findings derived from previous studies [31]. Table 1 reports the absorbance, transmittance, and allowed and forbidden energy gap values of all samples, and these values again agree with those reported in a previous work [32]. The extinction coefficient (k) is determined by [33]…”
