Enhancement of spike coherence by the departure from Gaussian noise in a Hodgkin-Huxley neuron

Abstract: Experimental study has shown that non-Gaussian noise exists in sensory systems like neurons. The departure from Gaussian behavior is a characteristic parameter of non-Gaussian noise.
