The 2018 General Education Curriculum in Vietnam is a competence-based program in which students actively learn under teacher’s guidance. Also, learning activities are very diverse, which requires teachers to manage their classrooms effectively. The study employed questionnaires to collect data from 226 parents and 336 teachers in public and private schools in Vietnam. The research focuses on three main aspects of classroom management (CM) in response to the implementation of the 2018 general education curriculum: Creating classroom environments; Establishing classroom rules; Student behavior management. The research results showed that the participating teachers and parents appreciated the surveyed activities in classroom management. Creating environments and establishing rules form the basis for student behavior standards. Therefore, both the teachers and parents quite agreed to promote these two activities for primary students. However, the parent’s support was lower than the teacher’s, especially in managing student behavior. In order to manage the school, it is essential to involve all stakeholders, including a close relationship between teachers and parents.

Application of Education Management Information System for administering school academic activities is widely recognized as an essential tool of improving quality of education for sustainable development. However, in developing countries including Tanzania, most secondary schools use manual system for collecting, storing and disseminating education information. The Manual system limits schools to have accurately, timely and reliable dissemination of education information. Moreover, when parents want to monitor student's academic progress, the manual system requires them to visit schools physically and sometimes to wait until the end of the terminal and annual examination to get student academic report. Social and economic activities are one of the factors which limit parents to monitor student's academic progress effectively. Poor parental involvement for monitoring and tracking student's academic progress leads to poor student academic achievement. To address the solution, the study used structured interview and questionnaires to collect data from secondary schools education stakeholder. The collected data was analyzed using Pandas Python data analysis package. Findings from the study revealed that, poor student academic achievement in Tanzanian secondary schools is being caused by poor parental involvement in monitoring and tracking student's academic progress. However, the study developed and implemented a centralized Education Management Information System for enhancing parental involvement in monitoring and tracking student's academic progress. The significance of this study was to enhance parental involvement for student academic achievement by improving delivery of quality education for sustainable development.

The class or subject teachers used classroom management to describe the process of ensuring that classroom lessons run smoothly despite disruptive behaviour by students; it is also known as class control. This study examines the relationship between classroom management and students’ performance in public secondary schools’ examinations in Ado-Odo Ota Local Government Area, Ogun State, Nigeria. A field survey was carried out among the class teachers in some selected public secondary schools within Ogun State, Nigeria. A structured questionnaire was designed as an instrument for data collection from respondents. Eighty respondents were interviewed through the questionnaire. Pearson product-moment correlation statistics use in analysing the data. The result of the hypothesis test revealed that there is a significant relationship between classroom management and students’ performance in public secondary schools’ examinations. The study concluded that a variety of classroom management techniques will keep students organized, orderly, focused, attentive, on task, and educational productive during their examinations. The study further concluded that the government and stakeholders in the education sector should organize seminars or conferences that will train teachers on how to manage their classrooms perfectly without stress.
