Abstract: Flame-retardant flax fabrics were developed using the grafting of phytic acid (PA) through a two-step process. First, flax fabrics were functionalized with glycidyl groups employing the polymerization of glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) via a simultaneous e-beam irradiation procedure.
