Abstract:In order to reduce environmental pollution and improve material safety, bio‐based flame‐retardant polymers are gradually becoming a new trend. We synthesized a fully bio‐based flame retardant called PACY by reacting phytic acid (PA) and cytosine (CY) in water, and then mixed the flame retardant with the biodegradable polylactic acid (PLA) to obtain composites, characterizing the performance of the composites by microscopic morphology, thermal properties, flame‐retardant performance and so on. The test results s… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
