Enhancing JCO Oncology Practice's Cancer Care Delivery and Quality Improvement Mission With Equity and Value Components

Abstract

JCO Oncology Practice (JCO OP) prioritizes research regarding care delivery models, policy, and commentaries that can inform improvements in cancer care delivery and quality as well as key clinical and care delivery reviews relevant to practicing physicians, their staffs, payers, and policy makers. 1 In serving this mission, the JCO OP editors welcome manuscripts that include the actionable components of cancer care disparities and value-based care that can lead to improved models of care, health care systems, and policies for patients with cancer and those we can prevent from getting cancer. We do not prioritize database studies confirming inequities unless novel discoveries have associated studies that can guide improvements in cancer care delivery and quality.
