The COVID-19 pandemic has had far-reaching implications for individuals, societies, and economies, disrupting established patterns in education, employment, and career trajectories. This paper explores a narrative review of the literature that studied the graduates’ employability post pandemic. Narrative review is suitable to be applied in this study, as it tends to achieve exploratory research where a new or emerging field is explored, providing holistic perspective in which a wide range of studies is summarized, consequently synthesizing diverse evidence that highlight the trends across various studies. This review highlights the multifaceted challenges facing Malaysian graduates, emphasizing the far-reaching circumstance of the COVID-19 pandemic on graduates' employment dynamics. It underscores disparities in the quality of employment, wage gaps, and the vulnerability of workers in informal sectors. A range of factors impacting employability can be considered, including self-efficacy, curriculum support, employability skills development, and work placement learning. The study also explores the impact of postgraduate studies on employment prospects, gender disparities in employability skills, and the significance of soft skills and non-technical skills in aviation careers. Furthermore, it delves into how graduates' knowledge and soft skills development vary by education level and how emerging concepts like Industry 5.0 are reshaping the employment landscape. Confronting globalization and evolving labor market dynamics, graduates must embrace self-development and adaptability so forth meeting the changing needs of the job market.

Project-based learning is a student-centered learning process that provides opportunities to explore and combine theory and practice. This study aims to examine student responses after their participation in project-based learning and identify the skills that students have improved after completing the project-based learning process, using its 4 stages. An experimental verification of the possibilities of applying project-based learning project-based learning for students to acquire project competencies through the development and implementation of their own projects was conducted. A total of 70 students who studied at the faculties of management under the educational program "Project Management" participated in the study. The results showed a positive reaction of students to their experience of participating in project-based learning, which combines elements of theory and practice. In addition, the results of this study showed that project-oriented learning has a positive impact on the development of behavioral competencies of students and their further professional orientation. Students responded that thanks to project-based learning they have improved their thinking skills, problem-solving skills, gained a sense of self-realization, as well as teamwork skills. The work has further developed the iterative learning method by applying it to assess professional competencies in project management in different ways of learning: on personal experience, the experience of other lecturers and students, or combined learning in the first and second way. The proposed mathematical method for calculating the time for students to acquire project management competencies allows you to calculate whether a graduate, if included in a group, will have time to master the reference set of professional competencies, as those that are laid down in the educational program. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the application of project-based learning for students to acquire project competencies. The results of the study are confirmed during the experimental verification of the impact of project-based learning on students during the development and implementation of their own projects. The practical value of the study lies in helping educators to improve the quality of education. The study showed that project-based learning is an effective method for students to acquire project competencies. The article may be of interest to educational workers, scientists, and practitioners in project management.

In this article, the authors consider project management in the strategic planning of energy industry enterprises. The purpose of the article is to analyze and calculate indicators in order to identify the effectiveness of energy enterprise modernization. The authors thoroughly analyze the literature review on project management in the enterprise’s strategic planning. The authors also revealed that strategic planning in the project management framework is considered a dynamic set of six interrelated management processes that logically follow each other. Results: the authors calculated the degree of factors influenced to identify the decreased degree in the enterprise efficiency by the method of chain substitutions. As a result, heat energy was underdeveloped due to the reduction in the number of operation hours of boiler units. As a result of the conducted research, it was revealed that a change in the values of the main factors, namely the number of boiler units operating and due to heat losses from external pipelines affecting the production process, entails a change in the generated power of boilers, the amount of load and the valuable heat released, and hot water transferred to the consumer. Conclusion: the presented data and their analysis make it possible to effectively assess that a well-chosen and successfully implemented business management strategy is the key to its effective functioning in a market economy. Of course, a good strategic plan and its good execution do not guarantee that the company will be able to completely avoid periods of recession and uncertainty.
