Abstract:The study focused on investigating the photoluminescence behavior of pure strontium phosphate glasses with a composition of 62.5% P2O5 and 37.5% SrO. Then it was extended to investigate the effects of adding rare earth elements (Pr3+, Sm3+, Eu3+, Dy3+) and the crystallization process on improving luminescent properties of the parent glass.
