Abstract:Background
Tuberculosis (TB) among hospitalized patients is underdiagnosed. This study assessed systematic TB-screening, followed by an enhanced TB-diagnostic package for hospitalized patientsimplemented by trained lay health workers in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
