“…Similar to previous appraisals of CRT, our systematic review of social studies education scholarship excavated an inconsistent definition and projection of CRT's tenets and principles (Carbado, 2011;Delgado, 2003Delgado, , 2011Dixson & Rousseau Anderson, 2018). Overall, we found little consensus among the research as to what constitutes CRT, thus reproducing a canon of literature that fails to project a clear understanding of the theory itself (Carbado, 2011;Delgado, 2003Delgado, , 2011.
