Abstract:This existentially-informed person-centred paper argues that current conceptualisations of 'case studies' (beloved of psychotherapy training and beyond), can reduce complex/beautiful human beings to flat/objectified characters defined by 'presenting problems' -'presenting problems' which clever therapists 'fix'.
