Enteroviruses and Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus: An Overlooked Relationship in Some Regions

Abstract: Enteroviruses (EVs) infect millions of people annually. EV infections can be asymptomatic or symptomatic with conditions ranging from mild illnesses to serious diseases such as dilated cardiomyopathy.
