Abstract:The enthalpies of mixing of water (H 2 O) + sodium dodecyl sulfate (NaDDS) + 1-pentanol (PeOH) + triethanolamine (TEA) mixtures with different compositions at 298.15 K are determined using the thermochemical cycle. The enthalpies of dissolution of NaDDS, H 2 O, PeOH, TEA, and H 2 O + TEA + PeOH + NaDDS mixtures in 2-propanol are measured by means of calorimetry.
