Enthusiastic discussions on solid physic and material science at SPMS2019

Abstract: At 11th National Conference of Solid Physics and Material Science (SPMS2019), to which eminent scientists (5 plenary speakers and 16 invited speakers) were invited, most of the discussion focused on solid physic and material science. Around 300 researchers interested in the subject attended the conference and actively participate in the discussion. There were more than 200 reports with five specialized subcommittees: (A) Physics and magnetic materials, (B) Semiconductor and dielectric physics, (C) Materials - … Show more

“…A notable PCE of 8.46% was achieved and it is comparable to that of the DSSCs with Pt CEs. The synthesis strategy of the MoS 2 /PtCo-alloy NP composite is effective and also have promising prospects in area such as electromagnetic shielding [ 66 ] and solar to steam generation [ 67 , 68 , 69 ].…”

“…Dao et al [21] developed Limnobium Laevigatum nanogenerator (LLN) for electricity generation and freshwater production using vacuum filtration deposition of MWCNTs onto cellulose paper-located on the Polystyrene (PS) foam. CNTs served as sunlight absorbers have been widely used in solar-driven steam generation devices with a variety of applications such as low-cost steam for medical sanitization, seawater desalination, chemical distillation and water purification [22][23][24]. Lu et al [25] developed a flexible spongy CNTs consisting of self-assembled, interconnected CNT skeletons, was directly used as electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding film.…”
